The British GDP Index Was Slightly Higher Than Expected

The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) index measures annual changes in the inflation-adjusted value of all goods and services produced in the economy. This index is the most comprehensive measure of economic activity and the primary indicator of economic health. A value above expectations should be considered positive/bullish for the pound, while a value below expectations should be considered negative/bearish for the pound;

The UK GDP index was released at 7:00 a.m. on December 12 at a rate of 0.05%, which was 0.1% above forecasts. It should also be noted that the rate of the last period of this index was -0.6%.
After the publication of this index, there were no significant fluctuations in the markets and no significant impact was observed
