Spain says GDP growth in 2022 was faster than 5%
Deltafx Admin 11 January 2023According to what Spain economy minister, Nadia Calvino says, the growth of the Spanish economy again exceeded the most optimistic forecasts, with growth higher than 5%, driven by the exceptional behavior of the job market, investment and exports.
This is a small victory for the euro area as a whole, with better winter conditions certainly helping with the energy crisis. The outlook for the region remains bleak, but the good thing is that things are not as bad as they could have been at this point.
